Too bad about your friend, but I find it hard to blame her. I want to love Songbird, it's a wonderful idea and a wonderful alternative, but I still think that iTunes covers the basics of music playing and library management better then any other media player I've ever used (though I do dislike Apple).

Because of my love for Linux, though, Songbird wins by default.
